Personally, I think intercourse is more intimate, but that's just US. For some people, oral might be more so. I feel like intercourse is more intimate for us because our bodies are usually pressed together, and we're getting pleasured at the same time by each other.

They are both intimate, and intent and mindset have a lot to do with it. I don't think one act is inherently intimate over another; the situation and circumstances all play a role in the level of intimacy involved.

I don't necessarily think any one act is by itself intimate, it's my intent and the energy I put in that determines that. For me personally, sex and intimacy don't always go together and just because I've engaged in a sex act with someone doesn't automatically mean I've been intimate with them and having sex with them won't automatically create intimacy either.
