Sloppy drunk sex is by far the worst but even then it works sometimes. Sometimes you just want to get rowdy and get laid. A few drinks will almost always grease the wheels (or the sexual organ of your choice) and sober sex will definitely allow you to be more aware of what's going on. To be perfectly honest, its sex so it's better than nothing at all!

I had sloppy drunk sex on the weekend and it made me realize that I don't like it so much. I've gotten used to sober or near-sober sex and I enjoy being more lucid throughout. My memory's all foggy of the drunk sex I had.... meh...

To me, that's rather like being at a loud party/barbeque- if you are there and involved and part of it, it's great! If you're a bored neighbor trying to read the paper on the other hand, it's not so fun. So participating in the drinking as well is a necessity otherwise it's best to both be sober.

I am never able to have an orgasm when I'm any more than buzzed. For some reason I still really enjoy drunk sex though? I don't really understand this.
When with a new partner sober sex is always best, if you are in a comfortable long term relationship I can see how some drinks excite things.
