Mutual masturbation has two different definitions according to Em and Lo.

The first definition is masturbating in front of one another. The self-imposed rule of no touching can add to sexual tension while it also allows you to indulge in many different roleplay scenarios. Not only can it be arousing, but it can also be educational as you can learn how your partner enjoys touching themselves. Along with that, there is zero chance is giving each other an STD or ending up pregnant, and since most people know how to touch themselves to orgasm, it can also lead to an orgasm as well.

The other definition of mutual masturbation includes touching each other's genitals at the same time. Doing it this way can cause sexual tension and bring the two of you back to the days of hurried, desperate sex in the back of a car. Manual sex is one of the best ways to bring a woman to orgasm, and it's one of the lower-risk activities in terms of STDs or pregnancy.

Unfortunately this is a fairly poorly worded poll.

"No, I've tried mutual masturbation." what does that mean? You have or have not?

For us it's the infamous "Other". We often masturbate the other to orgasm - but not at the same time - and we do not masturbate separately within view.

M and I do both. Masturbate in front of each other and touch each other at the same time. And we love both. And both usually lead to some other form of sex. It's one of our favorite things... aside from the actual sex, of course.

As my significant other and I are long term, we've gone the mutual masturbation (that is, in front of each other, on skype) route with quite a bit of success. My significant other doesn't masturbate except in these situations (he was brought up to think it's a sin and very wrong), so it keeps things from getting tense from no orgasm.

We'll often get off in front of each other at the same time, and usually there is some form of touching or closeness. We don't specifically put space between us to roleplay like that, but maybe we will in the future.

i think mutual masturbation is when both of you are touching yourselves. very fun!

We do it fairly frequently, and it's definitely arousing. I've always considered it as not touching each other but only ourselves - touching each other is more what I'd consider foreplay and not masturbation.

I think my definition of mutual masturbation would have to be masturbating one another but taking turns, not at the same time. That way we can focus on what we are experiencing fully.

I haven't orgasmed this way yet, but when we do this orgasm very quickly once we begin penetration.

I would think all forms of masturbation would give zero possibility for pregnancy. Unless it's a guy and a girl and the girl get the sperm on her hands and then starts fingering herself. But even then it's going to be pretty low. Personally I think that masturbation would be a great alternative to teach for sex ed. Even mutual masturbation to decrease the number of teen pregnancies. But chances are anyone who tried as a teen would still go all the way to sex.

Maybe school should teach mutual masturbation with sex toys. Having the boys use FleshLights and the girls using dildos. It would be a win win for everyone. hahaha

Yes. We either watch each other masturbate or masturbate together. We tend to fondle each throughout mutual masturbation.
