I have a friend that really only wants to have sex when she has been drinking. I hear her husband complain about it all the time. Do you think this normal have you heard of this?

I've not heard of this. I hate drunk sex. But then, I hate being drunk, so that's probably why.

Perhaps she is embarrassed about something regarding sex. As we all know alcohol lowers your inhibitions which perhaps makes her feel more comfortable with herself to have sex.

I would allow her to talk in depth about it without judgement, but trying to show some type of understanding towards her. If her sex partner isn't one to understand, she'll never open up.

She might be uncomfortable with sex and her sexual self. Sometimes if a person has been raised to think of sex as dirty or shameful, they might turn to alcohol to have an 'excuse' for the sexual behavior. Sad but fairly common.

I drink about once a month. And hubby likes to have sex with me while I am drunk. I squirt all over the place multiple times in a row. Plus I do things without being asked to and things that usually aren't on the menu. Drunk sex is fun once in a while. As long as you know what you are doing. Not drunk to the point of not knowing anything.

I love drunk sex. There. I said it. It's just how we like to get down, but we don't always have sex drunk/tipsy/buzzed. We just tend to let our guards down a little more when we've had a couple of drinks at the end of a long day, you know? I mean, we aren't talking sloppy drunk, just delightfully carefree. (Do I sound like the poster child for an AA meeting, yet?)
