Typically what you'll want to do is be really specific when asking questions under a general category just to clear up any confusion

Especially since to respond to your statement, there are more than 1 kind of "get tested" like it can be for different things I "get tested" for more than just STDs I also have a breast exam (since I'm a girl) and a GYN (also because I'm a girl). So unless you're clear on what you want to know, you'll probably get a lot of responses like that.

For actual STD testing, I get it done every 6 months, if I am sexually active. I just get it done yearly with my GYN otherwise.

I have not been tested for STD's for over 20 years. The joys of being with the wife for longer than that.

Ah, if it is STD testing you're talking about then I get it once a year with my annual girly visit. I don't need to get it, but I'm in the health care field and am one of those weird germophobe types who also has paranoia about contracting STD's. Despite never having been stuck by a needle (even with such low chances of it happening) and no real reason to worry, I do lol.

I don't get tested anymore, because we have been married and monogamous for over 50 years.

Same (well, about the paranoia, not being in the health care field).
