Thoughts on Boob Jobs

What do you think about breast augmentation surgeries? Are for them in any situation? Only after surgery or to fix a deformity? What age is too young? What age is too old? Just give us your thoughts...

i think its up to the person, but imho, more women are really better candidates for lifts, than implants.

I'm not a fan - I dated a girl with them and found them hard & cold.

But it's an emotional thing for many women - and if they feel they need the implants, they should be available. Age - when ever they can afford them!

My wife would love to have breast reduction surgery - the grass is always greener!

I agree with Kinker Skier; it's all u p to the person. Me, personally would love a boob reduction.

In Australia, the army pays for women soliders to ger breast implants, because it boost their confidence with shooting a gun.

My mother actually had to get a breast reduction surgery, her breast were size G and she only weighed 130lbs. They were naturally that size and were so heavy that the breast actually detached from the muscle wall. She had to get surgery to reduce them to a size D and reattach them back to the muscles. I'm just happy I ended up with DDs and didn't have to buy them or get half removed because of them being to big. I think there are some situation where I would 100% have surgery on them like if I was born with one breast or if I had boobs that were so big they hurt me like my mom had. Other than that I really don't know if I would get fake boobs, I have always had really big boobs I had Ds when I was 11 so I have never given much thought to getting boobs. I really love my boobs though and I love that they are big, it's like since I've always had them I can't imagine life without them.

I think they're fine as long as they're done for the right reasons for the woman and not to please someone else. My only issue with them is that I wish less younger girls would get them - I've seen cases where parents will buy them for a 16 or 17 year old girl that possibly isn't even finished growing yet. I don't think they should really be done until the girl is at least a legal adult.

I personally do not like the look of fake breast. I also think most woman get them to big. It is also not my place to tell anyone what to do with their body.

I used to work at Fredrick's of Hollywood and we always had girls come in that had just gotten fake boobs and didn't know what size they were. I found that almost all of them were unhappy after getting the boobs, they felt uncomfortable and didn't know how to fit into cloths. Plus one problem with get fake boobs is not everyones body was made for boobs. I had a girl that was skinning skinning as a twig and only about 5ft tall come in with DD size boobs that she had just got. It was imposable to find her a bra size and I felt bad for her because nothing fit on her right.

I went from a breastfeeding-deflated , lopsided, saggy A/B cup to a DD. It was supposed to be a C, but then I got pregnant by surprise with #3, did not nurse , but when all was said and done, I now have a "rack". It's a bit larger than I would have wanted because I sure wish I could fit in to some of those cute tops at Forever 21!!!

I have silicone and love them. No back problems ,pain, or anything. Nipples are about the same. Insertion was done through the areola, and they were placed submuscular. I could use a lift, but they look natural, so maybe that isn't such a bad thing.

I'm considering getting a boob job. The main reasons is that my breasts are uneven. I'd also like them a bit larger to balance out my hips/butt. I'm a 34 B now and I think a D would be nice, not so big that it would look out of place on my body. My mom is a 34 F and she has a hard time finding bras and gets back pain so I wouldn't want to have to deal with those things. I'm 20 and I will probably wait a few years before doing anything. My body hasn't changed since I was 15 but I want to really be sure before I do anything drastic. And I would need to save up the money of course.

After being the girl at the age of 14 wearing a 34-36DD and the woman wearing the 44EEE (and larger), having 3 kids, gaining some weight and then losing some weight over the years, I opted to have a breast lift and reduction last year. Was one of the best things I ever did for myself. I have always felt that cosmetic surgery is a very personal thing (since you are the only one that has to go under the knife and deal with the pain). I would never tell someone to have surgery or not have surgery...it is way to personal and intimate of a decision.

I would definitely say that any kind of augmentation should not be done on anyone below the age of sixteen. Above that... Well, with parental consent, they can tattoo themselves at sixteen, or drive a car, if that's what they chose, they have to live with the consequences. I'd recommend only permitting augmentation in the case of medical necessity (breasts that are too large to be comfortable or are harming their health, or uneven breasts that are causing severe emotional issues for the teenager, etc.)

If someone came to me desiring any kind of surgery (reduction, implants, or lift), no matter how old,I would caution them into waiting at least six months before making the appointment with a surgeon. A lot can change in half a year...

Someone has to represent the other end of the spectrum, so here I am.

I was very small before having a baby. Now I'm almost completely flat, like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I've considered an enhancement, just to bring me up to an A. Clothes would look better for sure. I just don't want to spend money on that.

The upside: I don't sag one bit.

Also, my bathroom scale tells you what age you are based on fat, muscle, weight, etc. Somewhat inaccurate, but interesting. My scale tells me I'm 12. I've concluded that it looks up, sees my chest then decides.

I love big boobs, but I'm not fan of fake ones. I think they're a bit tacky, actually.

This is why I am seriously considering one. Large chested women consistently talk about how hard it is to find clothes with big breasts but it's the same with very small chests. Clothes are made for average sizes (large A-C cups) so I just want to be there. Also, your twelve year old comment really resonates with me. I always talk to my partner about why I want to get an augmentation and say I feel like I have the body of a twelve year old boy without them.

Other people can do what they want with their bodies: their business.

I had a reduction/ lift and I'm just ever so glad I did. I went from a DD to a C (which is actually pretty small for my frame)....but I'd be happy personally having anything smaller than D.
