I have a preschooler at home and geez is it hard to find time to be intimate with my boyfriend. By the time they are down for the night, my boyfriend and I are exhausted. Any one else know that feeling?

Hi all! Definitely, it is a hard task overall, but for us it depends on the circumstances, sometimes we catch'em playing games or watching movies or whenever they fall asleep... A quickie in the shower is also an option

We don't have kids yet, but I think that my parents will be happy to stay with them when we need ~our time~
Of course, I could imagine that there'll be less time for sex, but the anticipated sex is so exciting, right?

Haha what I have done is installed weather stripping or soundproofing to our door and a lock to keep the boys out and we make a nice little cradle against the wall pillow stacked to the ceiling for my daughter so we can at least have some resemblance of intimacy. I am not going to lie it is very awkward fooling around, doing the deed with the four year olds in the same bed, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. The weird thing is we've never been interrupted by the two-year-old in the bed it's always the four-year-old excuse me 10 year old in the other room. He is not old enough to understand what's going on so he tries to how do I say interrupted or throw a fit when he knows the door is locked. It is very frustrating sometimes. We do send them to the grandparents but unfortunately by the time it gets to that point we're both exhausted that we just want to watch a movie. I don't have much advice but to find your own way and don't be embarrassed.

We have an 8 year old, a 6 year old, & 2 year old. Plus we live with my mom & step dad & to top it off my husband works out of town & only comes home one weekend a month. Talk abt finding time. When he does come home we wanna do stuff as a family obviously. Then trying to do the deed once everyone is asleep, we have to be quiet as the 6 & 2 year old sleep in our room & our 8 year old & my parents are in the room right next door. Plus I’m normally exhausted & finally just want my break to cuddle & watch movies with my husband. Yea it’s definitely difficult to find the time lol.

I can surely sympathize with your plight. When the kids were at home it was strictly weekend sex - maybe 2x a month.
The good news is when they finally go away to college - you'll be free! We average 13-15x a month now. Sex is our escape and entertainment - way better than what's on TV, streaming or computer/phone games!
