Who knows you review sex toys?

I told one of my friends and she was completely appalled and refused to talk about it.

My husband and a few close friends know. But some friends had strange reactions to the news so I've stopped telling anyone.

But the cats know. They always know.

My boyfriend, my Mother, and a few of my closest friends. Like Liz said - I'm the nympho or guru for the bedroom in my group.

My husband and a few of my friends know. I don't necessarily hide it, it just hasn't come up and I can't really see it ever coming up in conversation with my mom or anything.

A few friends know about it, and I'm beginning to be much more open about it, except at home. I live with my dad and he is beginning to raise an eyebrow at the amount of packages that I receive. I'm going to tell him I'm a beauty tester for Sephora or something lol.

Actually, as it stands now, I think most people I know do know by now. Plus, my circle of friends has shrank a bit too after a move, so that ups the concentration of people who know too.

I am still fairly new at the blogging thing so only a few people know about it. I created a facebook page as well so I could have an alternate identity in case I upset a friend or relative. I like to be open but it is difficult for me to find people who feel the same.

A few people know that I do it. My two new managers know, and so does my lover.

I've managed to tell most of my friends, and just talked my sister into an account, lol

Everyone knows. I don't hide it from anyone, and most think its "pretty cool". Although they don't know about my blog. I did however just order some flyers to hand out to my friends, and might even hand one to my mom

Us two, and a couple of really close and open-minded friends. Colleagues, co-workers, family and other assorted acquaintances would be totally shocked and horrified that such a responsible and proper couple would even consider testing out sex toys.

It's kind of like being a superhero - no-one but a select few know of our secret super power. Hehehehe...faster than a speeding dildo, stronger than the strongest vibe...

My husband, and pretty much all of his friends know. My mom and one Aunt know also. My mom tried to convince me that sex, and sex toys were BAD FOR ME! Oh I wanted to tell her, Mom? If you had sex once in a while MAYBE YOU WOULD BE LESS BITCHY!

Ok mini rant over, but yea. A few people. Thats my vote!

I work in a conservative field and live in the suburbs, so I don''t talk about it a lot. Not ashamed (I don't think I'm capable of that emotion, unless I were to actually HURT somebody) just people have weird reactions to sex toys, sometimes.

My Man was talking to a buddy, and his buddy said he wasn't getting laid enough, so My Man asked him if he was making sure she was Coming etc. Then My Man mentioned getting a vibrator, to make things interesting. My Man said he couldn't judge the dude's reaction (he's not good at reading people's reactions or facial expressions) but said he didn't think they'd be getting a Vibe any time soon. Now the women in this couple thinks we are totally perverts (we're really close friends, but she makes weird jokes about our "kinky sex life" and I tell her basically no details, so I don't know WHAT she thinks we do) and the guy stands REALLY close to me a lot and flirts more than he used to. What is that all about?

But, no, I don't tell too many people. I can't imagine logging in to EF at the Nurses Station.....

Naturally my husband knows and often helps with testing out products before I review them. One of our daughters knows but doesn't know what companies I review for or my pseudonym. Most everyone else of any consequence in our families, just know that I am a part time technical writer, reviewing consumer products and writing about them for manufacturers.

Currently, just my partner and two of my close friends know. I'm not sure if I'll ever be prepared to divulge this info to my family. There are some things that they just don't need to know.

My best friends know, and the people I work with know, and my partners know. I even told my mother because I get everything shipped to her house (my mailman is unreliable) so she figured it out and I told her. Other than that I haven't really told anyone

Friends and of course my bf. I can only tell select friends tho, I have some who are rather prude and I prefer them not knowing.

I have told one close friend, my father (he is a toy addict too..lol), and my partner. My partner said "oh great, I get all the benefits and don't have to do any writing work for it." lol.Her first reaction when I told her was "what a great thing for you, you love toys and love to write".

Only a few people know. I know my family would be dead against it. I dont know why though?

Now my mother knows. I told her the other day. It was a little awkward, but she was like, "OKay, whatever." She asked me if I got paid for it, & I said mostly the product is payment, but I also make affiliate commissions by advertising for companies on my blog. She was like, "Cool." And then she asked me to send her the link to sign up as an affiliate! I guess she's going to put a banner on one of her coupon trains. Lol, it was one of the stranger encounters I've had with my mother.

My husband knows of course. And loves it. My mom knows and thinks it's fine since I'm married and old enough now. My sisters know I get toys, but I don't think they know I review them. My best friend knows. And that's probably about it. Mainly my hubby, mother, and best friend. I don't think anyone else really knows.

I only told a few people.

I just recently told my husband, because now toys will be coming in the mail a lot, and I felt it was necessary to give him the heads up, as he usually doesn't care what I do online and he is NOT the "join a social networking site" kind of guy at all. (I usually log on while he's at work. He's a High Need Husband and for some reason needs me around when he's home and not "working" on something.)

I've written for money in the past, and done nursing and medical journal articles and my own column when I was a kid, etc, so he's used to my writing, either for pay or for fun. I told him, "I'm writing for a website, it's really fun and they are paying me in product." He just looked at me and said, "In sex toys?" The Man knows me! I didn't even HINT that it was sex toys, as I was saving that for the rest of the discussion. He just knows me.....
