I don't know, I guess prostitution belongs in the very large file in my brain titled, "I wouldn't personally be interested, but if that's what they're into and it's consensual, go for it." I suppose the bigger question is whether or not the person chose to become an escort or was forced into it. I suppose this problem would happen less with "high-end" escorts and more often with those you find on the street, but that's just sort of speculation. I don't know much on the topic.

I think that even if it were a situation that I knew I wouldn't be caught (or even hypothetically that it were legal), I still probably wouldn't. I'm just the type of person who won't enjoy sex unless it's with someone I care about and have a connection with. So either way, the answer is no for me.

It would depend on what kind of situation I was in. Escorting tends to be higher end and classier than prostituting, though it's the same thing. I just feel like there's a possibility it's safer, but correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not my cup of tea, I need a connection to get wet. I don't have a problem with prostitution, though. Even though I think it should be legalized to make it safer for the workers.

I am not sure if you are referring to me, but what I meant was would you ever for any reason hire an escort.

It would be too awkward for me, I'm not gutsy enough to do that. If I wasn't married and just had to have someone, I'd do friends with benefits b/c at least I would be comfortabe with my friend which wouldn't be the case with a total stranger.

I'd never do it, because being a woman, I think we have a much easier time getting someone "for free" so to speak than having to hire someone.

No, nor would I wan't to be with someone who has. It's not that hard to find someone you know and don't have to pay if you are just interested in sex and nothing else, personally though, I wouldn't have sex with someone I didn't like/love.
