I'm female, and I do find anal sex painful sometimes. If so, I stop. But when it works out, it feels amazing, and I've definitely had anal only orgasms.

Anal can be painful but you can always stop. What really helped me was reading some informative books on anal sex (they have some good reads on here!) and took I it slow at first. Once you get past that initial pain, it can be very pleasurable.

Without proper preparation YES it will be painful. With stretching and always using lots of lube NO it isn't or at least shouldn't be.

Agreeing with what's been said. Anal sex is painful without lube and preparation. How much preparation you need depends on your own preferences, and how you're feeling that day. For me, personally, I like to have a lot of foreplay and tp orgasm at least once before any anal penetration. It helps me relax and it makes the experience more enjoyable. Fingers first, before penises or toys, even if it's just one finger to work some lube inside.
As for orgasms... Never had an orgasm from anal stimulation only, but anal penetration makes other kinds of orgasms more powerful for me.

Anal is quite painless if you take enough time to relax, use enough lube and avoid sudden penetration and over-large toys. For us men the prostate makes it possible to have the most amazing orgasms - something every man should experience IMO.

If your doing it right anal should never hurt. Go slow, use lots and lots of lube and pay attention to your body. I find anal very pleasure and I can have a orgasm from it very easily and it only hurt twice once when my hand slip and the toy went in before I was ready and when I accidentally used a warming lube with the toy (the warming was too intense) .

really, like everyone has said, it is only painful for me (a girl) when it happens to quickly. lots of wetness, and going very slow is the way. i have found it to be very much enjoyable in the shower. the water helps i think.

I love anal stimulation. I haven't had an orgasm from anal stimulation alone but I do find that when I orgasm from clitoral stimulation while simultaneously stimulating my ass it makes my orgasms significantly more intense.
