My partner is 8 inches long, not quite sure about the circumference. I would estimate it as having 4.5 inch circumference since the diameter is about 2 inches but he can be a bit larger on occasions. I am absolutely happy with his size and he is too.
I voted for myself, since I'm trans, my clitoris is my "dick" and I desperately wish for it to be MUCH larger. My idea size would probably be around 7in but hell, I'd accept 4in just to have a passable-sized dick. Based on the dildo/vibrator size I like and the size of men I've had experience with, I like it average even a little small -- it's just so much easier to cause pain rather than pleasure with something that's big. The margin for error is smaller.

Mine is a little above average in length, more so in girth. It's not huge — nor would I want it to be. It sounds like you are just about right size wise according to this and other surveys. I am slightly longer than average and a smidgen girthier, having a smaller size would open more possibilities I think, such as anal, or deep oral. The myth of having a huge penis is better just ain't so, depending on what you are going to do with it.
