Congratulations and good luck!

Few suggestions:

-Try on the harness and dildo before "the night". That way you know how it goes on and is adjusted so that you don't wind up fumbling in the dark.

-Once the harness is adjusted, wear it with the dildo attached, again to get a feel for it. Obviously the harness needs to be comfortable, but it should be tight enough so that you can control the dildo.

-Use lots of lube, then use some more. And go slow.

-Not every position works for every couple. Experiment with different positions. Some are harder simply due to the difference in body sizes. However, you can make creative use of pillows to help out.

Woohoooo! Welcome to the club. I'm telling you there's no going back, I guarantee you guys will be hooked. Good advice listed above, I definitely recommend trying the strap-on out by yourself to get comfortable with the feel of it. You're doing anal play together, good. I second Kindred's suggestion with the addition of trying "jacking off" a bit to get the feel for how it works. Make sure you thrust the dildo rather than just moving your hands.

Secondly make sure you find a position where he's relaxed and not having to hold himself up. It makes insertion easier when you're not experienced, and even when you are.

Thirdly, start off with both genital and anal foreplay, but when you start pegging lay off the genital play for a while. Often playing with his penis will cause him to tighten his anus, so wait for a few minutes until he's relaxed back there and you can thrust comfortably.

Here is some advice from a couple who have been pegging for years.

We prefer vibrating silicone dildos. Our harness has a vibrator that along with the vibrator in the base of the dildo stimulate her clitoris while she fucks me. The maximum diameter that is comfortable for me is 1 1/2 inch, but 7 inches long is fine. Our favorite position is with me on my back with my legs drawn up. She gets between my legs and after lubing my opening and the dildo she inserts the dildo slowly and begins thrusting while she gives me a handjob. We usually cum together. We use Wet Original lube and lots of it.

An enema is optional for him. I use a Fleet Enema with plain water.
