I had a lot of trouble finding women once I was out of school and not interacting with a close knit group I knew were available. It was particularly hard if the woman knew I was bisexual. For some reason, a LOT of lesbian women don't want to date bisexual women. There's a nasty stereotype that we aren't as faithful in relationships. One way I've found effective is volunteering at LGBTQIA+ organizations, college groups, or businesses in the area, even just once or twice. Depending on where you live there may even be weekly meetups for single people!

Gosh, I know this feel. I am more comfortable with women than men, but I find I cannot locate bisexual women who have no qualms publicly dating a woman (not just sleeping with her - all I've been with prefer men to women in romantic relationships) or any lesbians who would give a bi like me a chance.

So basically right now, I'm stuck where I end up developing feelings for my lady friends who are married because they are the only women who'll talk to me and that's usually the method through which I develop feelings. Not a great position to be in, and damn it's really lonely sometimes.

Go places where gay women hang out. Feminist bookstores, women's group meetings, gay bars, Ani Difranco concerts, art classes, college... have fun.
