When did you come out as bisexual?

Contributor: Princess-Kayla ♥ Princess-Kayla ♥
I haven't, really. My fiance knows that I find girls attractive and that there was one incident with another girl, but he's the only one who knows.

I have never really fully come out. I've brought it up a few times, but there isn't a large bisexual or gay community in my area. Therefore, I've only dated a few women. The few people I have told don't think it's even important because I'm currently dating a guy and have a child. Apparently, if you have a child with a male, bisexuality doesn't exist where I'm from.

My brother is probably the only one in my family who is okay with the idea of me dating a girl. He's still a little shocked when I point a girl out that I'm into, but I can't imagine him not accepting me.

I realized I liked girls emotionally when I was nine...the physical parts came later. But I've never hidden it

I came out as bisexual in my early teens and dated my first girlfriend in the middle of high school. My parents were ridiculous and a decade after coming out still don't really accept or understand it, it just kind of isn't spoken about other than when my mom says how much she wants me to marry a guy and have kids and all that. Even after I've explained to them that I now identify as pansexual because I just don't see gender, they don't care. I think religion is a large reason why many people stay closeted for so long.

I haven't really come out yet, at least not to most people. A few of my closer friends know I'm pansexual, as does my boyfriend, but I haven't told most people, generally because I don't really care to. I probably won't ever officially "come out."

I was very open about it as a little kid. I had such a big crush on Morticia Addams and Jessica Rabbit! I experimented with a few girls in my grade school classes, nothing serious.

I came out around 13 to my family. They called me a liar and said that I just wanted to hurt them or that I was doing this for attention. I tried coming out a few years later. My mom is still in denial, but my dad is ok with it. My sister is fine with it and refers to me as "The crazy lezzer." lol

I didn't really so much "come out" as much as it was friends (and eventually parents) gradually realizing I was dating both boys and girls. I saw no reason to sit each person I knew and loved down and have that discussion because I didn't think I was doing anything wrong and that it should be a big deal unless you were someone I was interested in.

When I first came out, I didn't exactly tell everyone, I just didn't deny it when people asked.

I never really "came out" to my family. I live a bible belt community where everything is so secretive and hidden. Im ,on the other hand, very outgoing and have no shame in anything I do or say. My mom just kind of put two and two together one time, confronted me and told me she knew and after that its just like my typical family to "ignore" anything that is not "normal"(whatever "normal" is). As for my friends or kink family they all knew right off the bat, not because I told them but because that is usually when things with other women happend. I had to let go what the world around me thought about me and start living more for who I truly am and what makes me happy.

I came out in my teens, but I haven't "Come out", persay. The people in my life who know me know where I stand. My family probably can assume. I think my FB even lists male and female. I just don't find it necessary to really share that information.

I began my first same sex relationship when I was 19, but I didn't tell anyone I was bisexual until I was in my twenties. I haven't been openly out until the past twelve months or so.

18. Told mom about it in our car (was having a bad day and talking about why I hate myself and it just came out of my mouth). She's okay with it.

I was open to everyone but my very catholic family at 15. (Except my mom, she knew when she caught me in the shower with a girl... but she's gay, and outcast from the rest of my family...so she understood what I was feeling)

I'm 20 now and about ready to get a girlfriend and just tell my family about it.

ay first i wasnt sure on telling anyone my first time was with another woman well girl we was each others firsts she came from a "good christian home" i was the bad girl we just clicked i just knew i did like boys but i loved how a woman felt the soft skin the supple breasts but then the way a man felt entering me was sheer ecstasy. it was hard to explain this to some people but once i put it like this to them they fully understood so from my teen years on i continued to have both men and woman its a wonderful thing
