How old were you when you "Realized" and/or "Came to Terms With" you were not Hetrosexual.

It wasn't until I was 15 that I realized it, and it wasn't until I was 17 that I came to accept it.
I was raised in a half Roman Catholic, half southern Baptist, republican military household. Needless to say I was scared out of my wits of being disowned. But then I met my wife...and she became my crutch. If it wasn't for her I don't think I would be alive.

I figured it when I was around 13 or 14. I'd had a few crushes on guys, but when I got my first crush on a girl, I started to really think about. Up until that point, I'd sort of never looked at girls that way because it didn't occur to me to do so. I didn't really know that homosexuality existed. I quickly came to terms with it and came to the conclusion that I was a lesbian (not bisexual).

I'd grown up in a religious household, but years before that I'd moved away from religion, so it wasn't an issue that upset me. However, I am in the closet to most people I know.

Realized it around 15 or so, I think, but I was in denial and came out at 19. At that point it was to introduce my parents to my girlfriend.
