When you started HRT (estrogen or testosterone), where did you start getting pimples and breakouts first? My face got noticeably oilier first, but now I'm starting to get tiny whiteheads on my chest and upper back, and some on my shoulders and neck. What has your experience been like and what do you do to help it?

I also found a few around my genitals but I can't tell if they're from shaving or T! I'm breaking out all over, I better drink more water

Gah! Didn't realize that you were talking about acne in regards to HRT, so please disregard my vote.

If it makes you feel better, my crazy pills have broken me out everywhere. Face, arms, back... down there. Even my thighs. I'm seriously considering dropping the med, because I'm not even sure it's worth it (it's not even fully managing my symptoms). We'll see what the doctor says, I guess.

I found that eliminating dairy seemed to help (also I don't eat pork or red meat). Maybe that could help? I also washed my face with Cetaphil, which I think helped, but was too drying, so now I'm looking for something else. Either way you should check if your doctor has any tips or tricks on how to deal with that side-effect.

My face was first but eventually it all moved down and now I only get acne around my chin and on my neck.

I just remember when I was around 10-13, I got some on my chest. I haven't gotten any since that age though. I don't remember getting any on my face until I was around 15-16, I think and to this day, I still do!.... unless i lay outside or in a tanning bed.
