I haven't seen anyone who has gotten it that looks okay. It always turns out lumpy after a while. If that wasn't the case, I might get it.

I would get it if I thought the medical technology was better. So far the options for trans guys just don't match up to what I would consider good enough for me to spend that much money on. That's just me though. I'm happy for anyone who is happy with their bottom surgery results.

For guys looking at bottom surgery, phalloplasty involves skin grafts which leaves a very visible scar on the forearm and while metoidioplasty is a better option for me, it's still really expensive for a result that isn't quite on par with what you get in my book.

I'm young, I can't afford it yet anyways, so I'm waiting for medical technology to (hopefully) have some improvement

I enjoy my vagina, and surgeries don't seem to have the level of success that I'd want.

I'm not too worried about bottom surgery myself. It is simply not a priority for me. I can live with a vagina and a packer or STP if I'm in the little boys room, it's not terrible to me. My vagina does not add to my dysphoria... and my dicks come in every color!

I'm nonbinary, and personally I'd rather not have to deal with either set of genitals, but I feel like surgery is too expensive and too much of a hassle for me right now.

I don't want to lose sensitivity down there.

That is a common misconception. With current medical advances, there is a very low chance of losing sensitivity. WIth metoidioplasty, sensation is not changed at all. With Phalloplasty, you will most likely maintain sensation depending on your donor site. Some men even report gaining sensation.

I DO actually want bottom surgery, but I'm not impressed with how phalloplasties look right now, but I've definitely considered a meto. I'm VERY scared to get a meto though, sex is -insanely- important to me and anything that even possibly threatens my ability to orgasm terrifies me, even though the chances of losing sensation are extremely low. My biggest concern with metos is that they don't (as far as I've read) seem to give much regard to the internal parts of the clitoris, mostly the head and shaft are moved. The legs and bulbs of mine are very sensitive and really important for sex, I can't imagine only having the head and shaft... I also fear a change/lessening of sensation in the labia, I don't know how much attention is paid to those nerves during a meto. I'd happily get JUST a meto and hysto as bottom surgery (no closure of the vagina, urethral lengthening or phallo) if I knew that sex would feel just as good if not better. The doctor I'm most likely doing my top surgery with also does metos, so I'll be talking to him about my concerns before I decide on bottom or not.

I have way more dysphoria over NOT having a penis than I do having a vagina, my partner and I both enjoy being male bottoms and I sort of see it as a super convenient and less preparation anal sex. I'm mostly upset about the fact that I can't penetrate him (or receive oral) without the help of a toy.

Honestly, I would make myself have the money and time off and all of that IF the medical resources were up to par with what I want. I'm just waiting for a better procedure and better results.

same. I've heard of guys that get bottom surgery and lose all sensation cause the nerves don't make it. Doesn't seem worth the risk
