Transition

I went through a therapist. The doctor I wnated to prescribe me my T was in a partnership with a local gender clinic, so I went through them before I was authorised to start T.

first told my psychologist about my situation but I was her first trans* person and she didn't know much about it, then got referred to the Kingdom Hospital sexology department but was rejected for not being "trans* enough", then found a private practice gyno who prescribed me T after a few tests and an interview, so to call it.

I chose the gyno because I had to start T at all costs, even if it puts a dent in my bank account every month. in the end it's all worth it.


the whole transition thing in Denmark is different from other places though.

I'm intending to transition. Because I was having a really hard time in my life when I came out, I decided to see a wonderful therapist who is really helping me out. Since I've already started on that angle, I think it's just going to naturally progress from there.

I'm planning to medically transition (I haven't yet!), to the extent of top surgery, but that's a little ways off right yet. I haven't gone on T or anything, and I'm not sure if I'm really planning to.

I honestly am not sure if informed consent is a thing in my state yet. I know for sure that I've never heard of it before around here... D:
