Hey all.

It has been a while since I have been on here regularly! Work, school and toddler keep me quite busy now a days.

I have been gone for about the last 6 months and I have noticed TONS of changes around here--- including many new 'faces' and very different program things.

I found a community chronicles link but it looks like the last one was updated around May.

So, if I could have a few minutes and posts of your time to help me catch up I would greatly appreciate it!

A mentor would also be appreciated, if anyone is looking for students- I have tons of reviews to pound out and I am a bit rusty as well :/

A lot of new things have happened that I don't think any one person could describe them, but here goes. Sexis is now for the contributors too, and there's monthly writing contests. Eden Lit is taking general fiction and even nonfiction for writers. The general format of the site was rearranged to be more convenient. contributors can no be rewarded for exceptional posts with free points, or even docked points for spamming or point farming, but that's rare. That's about all I can think of now, but I'm sure there's more, so I'll leave that to the next poster.

Also, I'm taking students if you or anyone else is interested.

There is a community suggestion thread, the Sexis magazine has had writing contests the last 2 months and some of the topics are suggestions by members. Eden Cafe is now a great area to enter the contests for free give-aways, You may ask for your assignments on the item page if it is available--or in the product search. Manufacture sponsored assignments are more often 'pushed' or assigned--you do not have the option of asking. One lingerie review per item is allowed as a monthly assignment.

Thanks! I did notice that Sexis was around now. I like the idea of being able to write non fiction things as well.

I will have to check on the assignment stuff--- i always thought manufacturer reviews were pushed for the most part.
