We attend church every week, not just on holidays.
It was interesting to see all the politicians who try to drive religion from the public space invoking God when discussing the recent shooting tragedy.
It's kind of sickly pandering. Believe or not - don't try to fake it for public consumption.

Both me and my boyfriend aren't religious at all. Especially me! But we go to church just for Christmas out of respect for his religious parents. Usually when we're in church we almost fall asleep.
To me personally, Christmas is about parties, baking cookies, good food, presents, the "spirit" of giving, and awesome deals at the store. It's pretty much all whimsical stuff to me.
