So I was wondering if anyone is doing any creative things this holiday season? I figured we could make this a picture thread so we can share our work, and maybe even inspire each other : )

It doesn't necessarily have to be crafting- just anything creative! So baking, painting, sewing, knitting, gluing pieces of paper together, whatever! Heck, even pictures of your decorated Christmas tree would be lovely!

Right now I'm working on a very, very simple painting. I'll post photos when I'm done.

Feel free to post photos and if you don't have photos, that's okay too! Just share with us what you've made, what you're planning on making, or even just something you seen on line that you thought someone else may enjoy doing!

I am making my usual homemade candy/cookie baskets. I always have fudge, mounds, chocolate covered cherries, peanut, cashew and almond brittles and about three more random candies. For cookies, I do Swedish wedding, butterscotch, ice cream and pineapple upside down cookies. And three more random ones, of course.

No crafting for me. I leave it all up to my daughter she is knitting scarves for her friends. I would love for her to knit for kids at a childrens hospital or something but we live too far away in no man's land to donate them to a good cause

I usually knit and crochet things for people, sadly that's probably not going to happen this year as I don't have the extra cash to pick up yarn. I don't have any photos to post here, but here's a link to my Ravelry profile (linkage) so you can see some of the things that I've made in the past (almost everything that I made was a gift for someone - usually Christmas - or just random "winter" gifts).

This thread reminded me that my husband asked me to knit scarves for two of his coworkers. I don't have any plans to make any other Christmas gifts this year but do want to crochet a baby blanket for a coworker that is expecting his first child in early spring.

I love the Grinch painting! It's perfect! I'm not sure what exactly I'm going to do but I'm pretty sure I'll at least bake something. I also want to finish and put together a charm bracelet for my mom from all these little charms and things I've been collecting.
