I haven't participated for years but I've recently come across some old italian family methods for making natural dyes and floral prints on the egg which has piqued my interest.

I have kids, so they love coloring eggs every year. Not to mention, my hubby and I love it too Its fun, something crafty to do. We do lots of crafts at my house.

My Mom used to make the Ukranian style eggs, and we make these almost every year too. They take some time to do, but they're fun, and so pretty

I haven't painted eggs at home since I was a kid, but occasionally I'll help with the youth Easter celebrations at my church. It's fun to work with the preschool and lower elementary children while they paint eggs and enjoy the simple things in life
