I want to make sure everyone around me is happy so I tend to go all out and spend a lot of money I need. I feel good in the beginning, but afterwards, I'm left with so much grief from it. I wonder if anybody else has the same problems.

It's very hard not to be an impulsive spender. Being single now, I had to learn real fast how to control myself.

I wouldn't say I'm an impulsive spender, everything I buy is well planned. But I do still feel upset and guilty over it.

This time of year I do go a bit overboard if I can, but most of the year I try hard to harness my impulsiveness. It does not always work, I am used to buying whatever I want or need and the lower income has really reined me in...

I used to be, but this year I've been big on saving. I've spent a lot less this year than I did in past years.
