Every year the start displaying holiday stuff months before the holiday come. At my local walmart and kmart they had christmas stuff out before we evern had halloween. Im tired of having the holidays shoved down my throat. I take away from the specialness of the actual holiday. Its not exciting when it gets here if youve been seeing it all year. Why do they do this and is there any way to stop them?

Same as js250. Normally I'm out in public more often, suffering from the crowds and incessant Christmas music... but I didn't do that this year! So I'm totally psyched about the holidays.

By the time it gets to Christmas I just don't want to deal with it anymore. I've dealt with a lot of different good and bad Christmasses and I get really mixed feelings.

I get sick of the holidays pretty quickly but when it's the last 11 days of Christmas, like right now, I get super excited! I want to open my presents. lol. I want to give my presents and see the look on their faces. I'm also excited fo dressing up nice and having Christmas breakfast. Yum. I hate the crowds down town right now though, it's nuts!

yes. I feel this way about holidays in general though....in a perfect world for me, you would only see decorations and shopping for the week before

Never! I love the holidays. All of the early decorations just add to my excitement. I tend to annoy people around me. I'm the one singing Christmas songs and drinking eggnog for weeks before Christmas.

I could have Christmas stuff all year round. I think stores should have some sort of display of Christmas aisle all year round. You never know when you'll need a Christmas item!
