I bake for the holidays, technically. I bake all year long, so when I bake pumpkin pie in November it's just "in season." When I bake pumpkin pie in April it's "weird."
My mom and I spend an entire weekend baking for the holidays. Seriously, we make upwards of 60 dozen cookies, 4 pies, and 6 pounds of fudge. The house smells delicious for 72 hours straight.
Definitely!!! It is part of our Christmas. I bake cookies, gourmet brownies, pies, cakes, candies and other sweet treats. Of course, some of these are gifts--but there is always plenty for everyone!
I love any excuse to bake. I haven't done much holiday baking in the past couple years but this year I plan to go all-out again. Cookies, cakes, who knows what else.
