Yes... But as we are in the socialist republic of California only the "safe and sane" read as waste of time - ones. The good news is about 40% of the folks around us seem to not give a shit and we had an awesome show watching the stuff the folks down the street sent up in the air - and not one fire was started nor hand lost. The down side to the banning of fireworks in the incorporated inner-city areas is that the folks who don't care what the law says are twice as likely to go out into the backwoods [ key word WOODS] to set the shit off and not over the asphalt and well watered lawn jungle. Probably increases the fire risk just a tad by adding brush, grass that's dry and pine trees...

You may not have noticed but some folks don't care about what laws our State / City passes... kind of like with the drug and gang stuff - "Oh Mr. Crip / drug dealer you can't be here - there is a law!")

I live in St. Louis, and NOPE! But everyone did anyway baha We were driving around downtown (emergency trip to the sex shop, ya know ) and I saw all kinds of fireworks going up in people's back yards. Supposedly you could get fined $1,000 this year because the summer has been so dry, so we didn't risk it.

The city does our fireworks, it is not legal to do them personally. however, we can do sprinklers.
