We are seeing more and more HUGE, "over the top" yard displays of lights and ornaments (30 foot Santa's and Snow Globes) this year. What is going on at YOUR house?

I live in an apartment complex so I am limited as to how much I can do. We decorate our xmas tree with lots and lots of lights. Also have some candy cane light up decorations in the ground outside the back patio.

We live in a little apartment, so we don't have any christmas lights (or external decorations) up this year. We do have a little tiny christmas tree and an artificial mistletoe ball, but that's it...

No lights outside. We live in an apartment, I do wish I had the lights to decorate my balcony though.

I like white lights. We have icicles on our porch, and a trio of spiral trees, as well as a sleigh with three reindeer...all with white lights.

We didn't go all out this year, no kids coming back for holidays. Pretty quiet one.

Like the others, we live in an apartment and decorate inside. I do, however, have lights and a village in my front window that can be seen from outside. =)
When we get a house (hopefully soon!) the BF and I plan on doing a nice sized display with lights and yard decorations. I am particularly excited about getting a lighted train to put in a yard! =D

I am not decorating because im not at my house this year, but I would like to decorate mostly white maybe a few colored and some christmasy decor

the wife put up a string of the icicle lights around the front of the house. But that's it on the outside.

I just have evergreen garlands with white lights on the porch railing and around the columns. When my parents arrived he decided we need more lights. He added some aroung my front door and they are a different shade of white. They are almost pale blue and they don't match the rest of the house. But what can you say to a 75 yr old man. You just gotta let them do their thing.
