Out of those two options, I prefer milk chocolate. White chocolate is my favorite, though.

It depends on what kind; if it's a chocolate bar or standard box of chocolates (like Russel Stover) then definitely milk chocolate.

But if they're truffles or rich chocolates then dark is usually better.
