We have a dog and cat they each get wrapped presents under the Christmas tree and they have their own stocking as well! We don't have kids yet so they are the fur babies!

I cook my dog a steak every Christmas. He said he has enough clothes and toys! My cats get canned salmon, bells to chase around, and cat nip toys.

My guys get stuff all year round, not just Christmas. (I rarely wrap their gifts though.) I usually hit the after Christmas sales too, because lots of GREAT stuff goes on sale for GREAT prices!

Yes! I want to find my dog a little stocking but i haven't found a cute one yet. She usually gets bones and a toy or two.

This year I really want to get her a blanket, because my mother keeps insisting on cutting her hair off (fluffy australian shepherd) and I worry about her getting cold when she goes on walks and plays in the back yard.

Our budget usually doesn't allow for more than the occasional bag of dog treats through the year, so we spoil them at Christmas with new toys.

Pets are not automatons or lacking in intelligence about social interaction. They understand full well when others all around them are "getting something special" and they are not. How cruel.

YES, we absolutely make sure THEY have something special, anytime there is a party or gift giving.

It does NOT need to be any big deal....I guarantee my dog is happier with that $1 rawhide chew she can unwrap then if I gave her a new iPad and Cell Phone....but the fact SHE too has a gift is what matters. Something SHE can enjoy. (and despite the fact she keeps opening the magazines to that BMW page, I am NOT getting her a BMW...her little paws just would not reach the pedals).

Our dogs are SO spoiled. When we have steak, we just buy the larger pack and cook one up for them too. Nuts?...yes. Do we mind? No.
