I find myself baking and making candy for a full TWO WEEKS prior to Christmas...and CONTINUALLY (every night) for gifts, take along's to work and finally for my own family. It's like a second job for a while, but I love it. House smells SO nice.

Do you do this baking, candy making marathon before the holidays?

Christmas is my favorite time of year for that reason! In fact, I just handed out my final gift box of goodies today. For a few days, there wasn't a counter or shelf without cookies/breads/candies on it!

I have always done it the day before. Then everything is ready for Christmas morning when we leave to go to my parents house. It helps out alot to bake the food here, and not in my moms small kitchen.

I baked a cake yesterday. This morning I just baked some muffins and later today I will be making sugar cookies. So I guess at the last minute.
