Only certain fireworks are illegal here, but I still just go watch the local displays or the ones on my neighborhood.

No, they are illegal to possess and/or sell in the entire county where I live. There are plenty of municipal show near by that have exemption from the law

We don't usually buy a ton of fireworks but we do go and buy some and shoot them off at my grandparents house, they have a lot of open space for us to set them off out in the country, everyone drinks and enjoys them. It's a fun time.

it's legal here (though perhaps not the full-scale fireworks) and we have in the past, but not recently. just not much interest in the end. lots of people in the neighborhood do put on pretty full displays tho!
