How well attended is your towns MLK Day parade? Do you go? We have a fairly large parade, but our workplace is sure NOT closed, and most stores,shops...etc, were open, so other then schools, banks and government workers...who else goes??? Who CAN go???

They let the kids stay home from school today, but that was the only thing that marked today as MLK day.

My kids had school today, which surprised me. There's usually a march here in the afternoon.

...y'know, I still don't know that. We don't get out enough for me to find out I guess but it's a really small town so probably not.

We have one but I've never been. I've never worked for a company that closed for MLK day.
