Do any of your friends, family or co-workers really think Halloween is "evil" and say anything about it?

I know there are folks out there who really think it is a "devils creation"...etc. Does anyone know people who really feel that way and give you a hard time about participating in any kind of Halloween festivities (or allowing your kids to)?

What did they say, and how do you respond?

Haha, nope. We have neighbors who are big fans of Halloween decoration who don't decorate if Halloween falls on a Sunday, but that's pretty understandable and about as bad as it gets around here.

I think I'd have trouble getting along with someone who truly believed that as anything deeper than a regular acquaintance level.

...seems people here have no problem with it, and neither does anyone I've ever known in my entire life.
I think at most, the parents worry a bit about things like candy that's been tampered with and other potential dangers to their children...but does anyone really think it's evil anymore?

I mean...there's even a Peanuts special about it (called "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"), so I'd assume it's pretty widely accepted at least here in the USA.
