Where did this tradition of drinking green beer on St. Patrick's Day come from? Have you ever had green beer? If so, what does it taste like?

All they do is add food coloring. Just tastes like beer. It should just taste like beer.

As for it being a tradition, I really don't know.

I have had it-taste a lot like beer with green food coloring in it. Just another way to sell beer at 8am I guess.

An ex-FWB claimed drinking green beer was the only time he ever got into brawls with his wife.

I've never heard of green beer until now. Reminds me of green eggs and ham. Seems kind of gross, if it's just green-food colored beer--- I'm like, what if the dye makes your pee green?
