But we did have these two small pre-lit decorative trees to sit outside of the front door....
my dad and I decided to buy strands of LED lights to replace those and remove the pre-lit strands...

never
again.

I /hate/ pre-lit trees.

I have a pre-lit tree, and I add an extra, cute strand of lights My tree is a tiny pink tinsel tree- totally adorable and ridiculous. With a Flying Spaghetti Monster on top!

Strings through it. We used to get pre-lit ones, if we had a tree at all, when I was younger, but we switched over to strings, then no tree now.
