It's a toss up between the mosquitoes and the heat.
The heat I don't mind as long as I can take a cool shower or if we can have the windows open, but when you're sitting in a cargo van in the sun with the windows 90% up for two hours in the middle of the day it's not fun.
(would have had the windows down but my mother doesn't trust the area we have to park in for her doctor appointments)

I live in SoCal too and I love the heat during the day, but I sure wish the nights would cool down a bit more. I don't think I HATE anything about summer. I do on the other hand, hate winter
