Going to a friend's place to have some drinks and hang out.

It's my husband's birthday. This year we are taking a vacation to DC, and I got tickets to A Christmas Carol at the Ford's Theatre. It is his favorite book, play and movie of all time. Second row center, and we are dressing to the nines.

I'll be partying, it's just a matter of when and with whom.

Most likely staying in and having a few Hard Lemonades and watching the Times Square webcast as I do every year.

Best friend's son is getting married that day, but I wasn't invited (bride's family is paying for the whole thing, so they called the shots - no guests on the groom's side. Yes, it literally is a big fat Greek wedding. There won't be room for any other guests with her family there.)

Master calls me on Saturday, so I'll have that.

Might hang out with some friends at their place. I just hope he doesn't get on YouTube ... we get sucked into a vortex of chi manipulation videos, bad poltergeist footage, and recordings of Tibetan throat singers whenever he controls the television.

I'll try the jazz club again. Getting dressed up and going out to listen to local jazz and sip wine really appeals to me.
