I have gotten an ornament before. My neighbor put my first initial on it. It was pretty.

I prefer not ... well not at the moment ._. there are far too many 'nick-nacks' and ornament stuff in this house and I find I don't want things made for 'me' on something I'm setting up to be aesthetically pleasing.. B| most of the ornaments I've received as gifts have been winter themed things like snowmen or a sled with my name on it...

I might sit down and handpaint/make some next year. Sounds fun. Just seems kinda sucky to give people ornaments AFTER christmas or after the tree is already up.

My mom gets me one every year and I look forward to it!!! It is a great tradition and one day when I have space and money for a big tree, I look forward to putting all those ornaments on the tree!!

I had an uncle who did this the first few years I was married. We thought it was great! I intend to do this for my kids when they get their own place.
