There's a partial solar eclipse tomorrow, July 1st.

Unfortunately, only visible near Antarctica.

Do you ever celebrate astronomy events like eclipses, meteors showers and the like? Or, only if you can actually see the event?

I don't celebrate them. If I can actually see the event then I go outside, look, and enjoy. I don't throw a party or anything.
I'll never forget waking up my dad when I was a teenager in the wee hours of the morning to look at shooting stars. It was bitterly cold outside, but it is one of my fondest memories of time spent with my dad.

We just enjoy when we can see them. I'd love to travel to go and see a solar eclipse though.
