I'm curious how others' Valentine's evening turned out.

Despite being "on break", C asked me out to dinner and to visit an art gallery. We were comfortable together, but there was no touching (hand-holding, etc) as we did when we were involved. Although when he dropped me off at home, we ended up in a passionate kiss (oops) and I had to end it with "We have to stop this. I'll want more." He replied, "I know."

I certainly didn't expect the kiss.

How did everyone's night turn out?

I worked the closing shift last night, but my fiance did come by and bring me roses when I was at work. Then I came home, watched an episode of Breaking Bad with him, and we went to bed. Tonight we're going out on a date to celebrate a late V-day.

At midnight I sent my partner lingerie pics as he is away working an we talked on the phone for 3.5 hours last night. I ended up spending my Valentines Day with my cousin and brother.

I went to my favorite-but-far-away dining hall (single right now) because I told the staff I was going to. It was very nice; they had some sort of delicious and steak and importantly, chocolate covered strawberries. Your choice of milk chocolate or white chocolate.

My hubby was exhausted from work but he made me my favorite dinner. Unfortunately we didn't have sex!

Thanks for sharing your V-day experience.

Evening dinner and later strawberry desert covered with caramel syrup! As the evening progressed cuddled watching a movie titled "Somewhere in Time"!

It was quite nice, I spent it with friends and we watched Community and Stranger Than Fiction and ate cake and drank wine.

Mine was nice! I've been seeing a wonderful lady for about 2 months now, and she made me a yummy dinner that I could tell she put a lot of work into. Then we exchanged little gifts and cuddled.

Could have been better.

Went to loads of speed dating events, but everyone thinks I'm a little boy, so I'm not masculine enough for gay guys, lesbians think I'm a guy and hence unlikeable, straight girls think I'm not manly enough/too young, and straight guys think I'm one of them.

I feel like I don't fit in anywhere, and all of the speed dating places were mostly heteronormative. Just one was queer

Ours was really great! We went out to eat V-day night & I did try sushi for the first (and LAST) time. Interesting & very fun. Today (day after V-day) was my lovie's b-day so we celebrated it too.

I planned a 'Casablanca' themed evening.
I set up my living room to look like a little cafe in Morocco, lit the fire place and served Moroccan food.
After dinner we decorated cookies and then watched the movie :o)
Then at about 1 in the morning he woke me up and we had some fantastic sex (plus we got to try out a new toy!)
The whole evening was a ton of fun.

We had a special dinner made with my kids, I made them a special dessert, gave them a few gifts and put them in bed. My man and I spent some time together watching TV, but didn't do anything other than that. I was hoping he was going to be romantic with me, but no such luck.
