Thanksgiving 2011 is now in the history books. Midnight past on November 25.
So...did anyone try any new recipes worth sharing?
We always have FRESH green-beans at Thanksgiving, but this time I tried making a casserole with them. It was SUPER easy....but everyone raved about them. I boiled the FRESH green beans for all of 2 minutes, then put them in a glass baking pan. Poured in one can of Mushroom Soup (Campbells) and mixed gently. Then I took 1/8 cup of thin sliced sweet onion and added that in, and mixed. Put the whole thing in the oven for 15 minutes, at 300 degrees, then topped with onion crisps, heated on a baking sheet till warm.
Served it up and watched it GO!!!
Easy, fast, yummy.
Anyone else try something new they want to share? THANKS.
