Do you use a tree skirt under your christmas tree? If so, what color is it?

Ours is a red skirt with green border around the outside.

It's red, green and blue with some gold colored snowflakes and red and green holly berries alternating around the edges. It's kind of velvety too, which my kitties love, haha.

We don't use one... this year we bunched an old sheet around the tree stand and it actually looks pretty good

yes and usually a themed one

We've got something like that under the tree stand to protect the floors, but not a specific skirt.

My partner does most of the decorating and we have 3 different tree skirts

The family uses a white one....until I put it on my dog. I put it under the tree. Then he ran off with it. The new one is now black...

We used to use one when we had a real tree now we have a fake small tree with no tree skirt.

Yep, it has little christmas trees all over it. Redundant.

At my house, I have a small, four foot tree that just has some white fabric around the bottom to simulate snow. (They're actually old curtains that weren't being used, since I have fewer windows in my new apartment!) But at my parents house, they use a tree skirt that some deceased aunt made for them the year they got married...It's Christmas-themed, but it also has a square that has the date of their wedding on it, front and center. I really want to inherit it someday. I adore it. I wish I knew someone who would take the time to hand-make something so incredible for me when I get married!
