Candy and costume sales are WAY up from the last few years, but I just heard it was more about "parties" and less kids were on the streets going house to house. Did you notice more or less kids then in previous years?
Did you have more or less Trick Or Treaters this year 2012?

Still going so it is hard to tell!

We had quite a few - I'd say more than last year.

None this year, so exactly the same as last year

It's chilly and rainy here, so I haven't seen many on the streets. But, the mall trick-or-treat was packed wall to wall. Huge turnout there!

hahaha... Good one! I work on Halloween. It's our busiest day of the year, hands down. We gave kids free cookies though.

We had about twenty kids, so it was less than last year. People just do not seem to like going down the side streets in my subdivision. People stay along the main loop and that's it, but we're in a side street.

it felt like less this year.

Our neighborhood has matured - trick-or-treating is way down.

We had a solid one trick-or-treater. Which is more than these last few years! We finally moved into a neighborhood with kids, but I live in a college town so parents don't usually take kids to trick-or-treat at strange houses. Too many drunken students.

I haven't had any but I live in an apartment so that's not surprising.

ZERO we were out with the kiddos Trick or Treating

More. Our street almost never saw any and we had more than 10 this year.

Well, I can't say because we were only heading back from Panama today, an 8 hour drive. But we did arrive home in time to take the 7 year old trick or treating. Our tradition has been to take all the kids -- neices and nephews and our own trick or treating every year, but this year the two oldest ones ditched us! How dare them. They were embarrassed! LOL. So we rushed back this morning from the beach and made it to our local McDonalds to get the little girl at around 8PM and we took her trick or treating until 11. Yikes! It was a late night, but she so deserved all that fun. We took her everywhere and then to my partner's dad's house for a really hilarious, sort of scary time. She was a happy and tired little camper, but one hell of a trick or treater!

So we didn't even come straight home so I don't have a clue how many kids came by, but we didn't see many out tonight like we usually do. I just thought it was because we had a late start though. Maybe it is all about the parties these days. I love trick or treating with the kids though! I know when I hit my teen years, we mostly just partied though. Looks like we only have two more kids left that'll trick or treat with us! Lol. When they get "too old" for it, I guess we'll have to confiscate someone else's small child to take trick or treating. Lol. It's really a fun night for us.

We had less than usual. There's only a small dent in the candy bowl.
