Would you wear any of the lingerie type "dress up" costumes out in public for Halloween?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
There are a few "intended for the bedroom" I suspect, outfits sold here that look cute enough and 'safe enough" to wear out to an "adult" Halloween party.

Anyone else buy things "usually for the bedroom", but wear them as costumes on Halloween?

I would, it really depends on the outfit in question.

Yes... but it depends on the costume, and where we're going.

Everything from Leg Avenue is sold at the local Halloween store - including panties and stockings. The line between public and bedroom has been blurred, as far as I'm concerned.

Yes! I saw that last Halloween. I noticed the officer costume I have was sold at the local Halloween store.

I would wear and "adult" costume, but it would depend on which one.

SO very true. When visiting our daughter on her campus (she was in Medical School at the time, but there is a large undergrad college there too), we saw some girls dressed in cloths that...well, I would have called them sexy lingerie, and nothing but!!!! One had on a black, TOTALLY see though mesh top. This was going between classes. School was IN. Not weekend stuff!!!??? Blurred indeed.

it would depend on what I was doing for halloween. If I was taking my niece and nephew trick or treating, then no I would find something more conservative, if I was going to a BDSM party for haloween (which I probably am) then I definitely would wear one of the costumes here for halloween.

When we go out in public, I like to show off our creativity with home-made or mix-and-match costumes.

Sure I would, over some pants and maybe a cami top.
Just because it's sold as lingerie doesn't mean you can't wear it over something else to make it more modest and public friendly.

Although it would depend a bit on the costume design, some of them would look sort of silly over pants and a cami so they can stay in the bedroom. xD

Yeah, I've had some of their costumes at various times. My favorites have been the Alice in Wonderland and Beer Maid outfits. I bought both of those to wear to costume parties. Both show ample cleavage and have very shorts skirts. The parties in question were college sorority/fraternity mixers, so I don't think anybody minded (especially the boys). However, I most likely wouldn't wear those to an office costume party. So, I really guess it depends on who the intended audience is.

I would use the costumes here if I thought they were cute enough out of the house.

I do not dress up for Halloween and haven't in a long, long time - like 13 years? It's not my thing. But I have to say... no, I would not do it even for a party, lol.

I'm a little chubby and I don't really have many "bedroom" clothes, so I can't really say there's anything I'd wear for Halloween--or be comfortable wearing to out of my house.
