A friend of mine worked as an RA in a dorm for a year. She would constantly joke about give out condoms to all the students. She knew most of them were sexually active and most of those didn't have a good sex education class in high school. The closest she got was putting a bowl of condoms on the RA info table outside her room around Valentine's Day.

We don't get kids here because its an apartment building downtown, and the door is secured so no one ever buzzes each and every apartment for candy.

We gave out sweets. We buy a tin of quality street (assorted bite-sized sweets) and take out the toffee and fudge ones (least popular in our house) and give them to the kids. This year, though, we got so many trick or treaters that they took all those and started dipping into the good sweets!

Nothing, but I think it might be funny (read: evil) to give out those mini-energy drinks one year. And condoms for the adults.

we did not give out anything. Slow year in our neighborhood. I took the kids out for about an hour, then came home and put them to bed, then I crashed.
