What is one gift that you are really wanting this year?

I've not even thought of a gift I want. I usually don't even think about my own self during Christmas. I've planned and considered and even went ahead and bought some gifts for some of my loved ones so far, but this is one time of year when I'm totally selfless. When I'm Christmas shopping I don't think about things I want or what I want people to give me. In fact, I would be happy if people just forgot about the gifts and didn't feel obligated or have the stress of buying for me. I just love being with my loved ones and of course I do enjoy the gifting for them, but it is a bit stressful. Still though, I don't ask or tell people things I want given to me. It seems rude and I don't think I'd even be comfortable THINKING "hmmm... I hope this person buys me this." Seems out of place.

Now that's not to say I'm not ecstatic when my partner or mom does give me gifts. I'm very appreciative and I can't say I wasn't totally over-the-top excited when my partner surprised me with a Kindle Fire last year, but getting is not something I focus on and never have. I try to use this time of year to GIVE and I'm just not the type of person who can think of me, me me or getting during this time of year.

So I'm not hoping for anything. I'm hoping/excited about being with my whole family on Christmas, but not for material things. less
