I can't help thinking about wintertime even though it is only soon September! I guess I have that Christmas magic in me all year round. So I ask you, Eden, where does your tree come from?
Where does your Christmas tree come from?

We are allergic to real trees, so fake is the only option. We haven't put one up the past few years though. We are thinking about doing something out of the box instead the same old thing. We would like to have our own special tradition. We just have to think of it.

We just think it's better all around to set up a fake tree. We don't have to kill one, don't have to worry about pine needles everywhere or filling the water, don't have to worry about the cats getting into it because it's not sturdy enough to hold them.. All benefits in my mind.

We have an artificial tree that we've had for years. I've never had a real one.

A fake tree, from a store like Sears

I don't bother putting up a tree. I live by myself and am not very interested in decorations in general. My parents always put one up when I was a kid. When I was little we always got a real tree from a tree lot, but after my mom died when I was 9 my dad always put up a fake tree since it was easier to deal with.

We have a little charlie brown like tree. But I know my SO is going to talk me into getting something bigger and real this year I can just feel it.

We have a nice 'fluffy' fake tree. It's not that we're allergic, it's because not only do we not like to clean the pine needles after, we're also environmental friendly. In other words, tree huggers ;P

We have a tradition we started the first year we were together--not intentionally, either. A couple of weeks before Christmas, my hubby and I grab my tiny old fashioned sled I got when I was 5, a six pack of beer and go get our tree after dark. Yes, it is dark and seeing the tree can be a challenge. We have had beautiful ones, charlie brown ones and anything in between---but the memories and fun is too special to change!!!

We use an artificial one due to my son's allergies.

Usually a store. We go with the fake trees. Less messy.

Well I have a fake tree that i'm pretty sure is older than I am LOL but my man will have none of that and bought us a real tree last year

There are plenty of Christmas tree farms five minutes drive away from my house, but we don't put up Christmas trees anymore.

I put up a fake tree.

We always put up a live tree.

Artificial tree...no dropped needles

We've always had fake trees, but my husband really wants to get a real one this year.

We have always done fake and I prefer that since we don't have to deal with the needles all over the floor and watering it. I also can get a fake tree for around the same price if not a little more then a real one an use it more then once.

We have a fake one, but we special ordered it. It doesn't come from Sears...it comes from the spare room!

From a tree lot, but I want to get a fake one. I'm tired of pine needles.

We have always had fake ones. This year we are thinking of a real one though.

Cat E.
I grew up with fake trees.

We always get a real tree from a Christmas tree lot

I have had a fake tree and it just wasnt the same, we always get a real one. My father-in-law gets me whatever tree I want as a part of my Christmas gifts every year. I take my son to the same tree lot I went to as a kid.

I'm not sure which to do this year. On the one hand, I'd have to find a place to store a fake tree for 11 months out of the year. I DO like real trees, but I don't know if I support growing trees just to chop them down. I'm very torn this year...

The fake one, sitting in a box in our shed. I only had a real Christmas tree once when I was growing up, and that was enough to totally turn me against them. It was a pain in the butt dealing with all the pine needles, having to constantly water it, and getting the sap everywhere. Plus, I couldn't stand the smell of the dang thing.
