Where does your Christmas tree come from?

Contributor: KyotoAngel KyotoAngel
...That's a good question, when a mommy Christmas tree and a daddy Christmas tree love each other very much (or get drunk on too much eggnog) they get together and make cute little baby Christmas trees before they get chopped down and used in a display in Rockefeller Square or mall windows. xD

(sorry for the vaguely smartass-y answer there, I had a bit of a Cat in the Hat moment...it was meant as a joke)

Anyway, we've always used fake trees...I don't really know why, but my mother always makes it look all nice and fluffy so I never wondered what a real tree is like. ^_^

We have a fiber optic tree that negates the need for strings of lights. Sometimes we decorate the trees outside our house with popcorn strung on hemp threads or popcorn balls (made with birdseed) for the birds and squirrels. The girls love watching the animals enjoy the treats.

We have a small fake one that we put up. We really don't have any need for a real one.

We have a fake one, but we're usually too lazy to put it up. We go to my mom's for Christmas anyhow.

My Fiance and I have never had our own tree. I hope we will this year, but normally his family gets one and they normally get it from a lot.

Don't usually put one up, but prefer fake. The whole real tree thing seems like a waste.

I have a fake tree now, but as a kid, my parents owned ten acres, so we'd find one in the woods for free

I wouldn't have a tree, but that would be just plain mean to my daughter.
