Generally when I see 3D movies, they seem not worth the money. I have seen many movies in 3D and it really wasn't worth it to me. So normally I avoid 3D movies all together. Do you think it's worth the money?

It depends on the movie. Movies that were made primarily with CGI are usually better in 3D.

Yes. I don't notice THAT much of a difference to justify the price. I mean I can tell that it's "popping out" at you but I just don't care for it. The glasses give me a headache most of the time anyways. If I have the option to see a movie in 2D, I'm going to it instead.

This 3D thing is a fad--the film medium doesn't need it to thrive. It particularly annoys me when I'm watching a movie in 2D but I can tell that a shot was made to take advantage of 3D. It NEVER contributes to the narrative of the film.

For me, yes. Most of the time, I can't see 3D properly, and when I can, it gives me a headache.

Mostly, yes.

The last few that I have gone to see in 3D have been terrible and a HUGE waste of money.

I went to see Oz The Great and Powerful in 3D, but that was only because the regular showing was too late for our schedule. That one was actually pretty good in 3D. One of the best ones I've seen in a few years in 3D.

Titanic was TERRIBLE in 3D.

Toy Story 3 was a big letdown in 3D.

I don't usually care for 3D, but I did see The Avengers and The Hobbit in 3D, which was pretty fun. I get the novelty of seeing a 3D movie in theaters, but I don't like 3D TVs.
