Life on Mars and its spin-off Ashes to Ashes were British nostalgia cop shows with a twist - in each, a modern-day police officer found themselves stuck in a previous decade, the 70s in Life on Mars and the 80s in Ashes to Ashes. They're both great fun as cop shows with just a bit of sci-fi surrealism thrown in, but I haven't found too many American fans of the shows. Are there any fans here?

There were US remakes of the shows, so that may be why there aren't too many American fans out there.
